As Retail Sales Manager, you will spearhead the clients retail-focused strategy, driving growth in supermarket and convenience store segments. Your leadership will ensure brand visibility, executional excellence in merchandising, and outstanding customer engagement across retail accounts.
Develop and implement high-impact retail sales strategies targeting supermarkets, convenience stores, and minimarkets.
Build and nurture relationships with key retail clients, ensuring consistent representation of premium global brands.
Lead instore merchandising and retail marketing efforts to reflect brand standards and maximize shelf visibility.
Manage a team of retail account managers and merchandisers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
Analyze sales data and market trends using technology and analytics to optimize product placement, stock levels, and overall performance.
Collaborate with logistics to maintain timely deliveries and manage inventory effectively supporting the clients commitment to service excellence and next day delivery.
Monitor competitor activity, prepare sales forecasts, and present insights along with strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Act as a bridge between suppliers, marketing, and retail channels to ensure alignment in promotional execution and product launches.
3+ years of retail sales experience in FMCG, preferably with a hands-on understanding of merchandising and brand activation.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster long-term partnerships with retail clients.
Proven leadership and team management abilities.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and insights generation.
Familiarity with logistics operations to align sales activities with delivery capabilities.
Fluency in English; Maltese skills are an advantage but not essential.
