What The Position is About:

• Lead the sales team (account managers and customer service team) to ensure established goals and objectives are accomplished
• Create and execute sales strategies to support company growth
• Drive retail sales and develop new retail relationships
• Recruit, hire, and train the sales roster
• Coach and mentor the team to optimize their performance and professional growth
• Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance
• Travel to maintain relationships with key customer contacts, explain technical issues, and develop new customer relationships
• Represent the company and participate in conferences and trade shows to promote business and develop relationships
• Oversee the preparation of product pricing and special quotations to maximize sales and profitability
• Propose and manage rebate programs
• Provide market analysis and sales forecasts and coordinate with production scheduling to ensure product availability
• Initiate changes and modifications in operational processes and procedures to increase sales

The Right Candidate Will Have:

• 5+ years of sales management experience within the building materials industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
