We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Support Specialist - Order Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing & processing orders, ensuring accurate & timely delivery of products. You will also provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries related to orders, and resolving any issues that may arise. This position requires effective communication skills & a positive attitude, as you will be working closely with both internal teams and customers to ensure a smooth order processing experience. As a Retail Sales Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with our customers and meeting their needs efficiently. Responsibilities
- Process incoming sales orders and ensure accurate entry into our system
- Follow up with customers to confirm order details, resolve any issues, and provide shipment updates
- Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to ensure orders are shipped on time and in accordance with customer requirements
- Support sales team with data analysis, reports, and order-related inquiries
- Provide post-sales support, including handling returns, credits, and capturing non-conformance details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in ERP system
- Assist with inventory management and product allocation as needed
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues with the EDI mapping, working closely with EDI Team to resolve problems
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest solutions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in order processing, sales support, or customer service role
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with ERP systems (MicroSoft GP preferred)
- Knowledge and experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional service
