RETAIL SALES/CASHIER – SEASONAL FULL TIME

Position Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate/Cashier is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with product selection, completing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment. This position requires a friendly, professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is comfortable operating a cash register, and is committed to creating a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Greet and assist customers with product selection, pricing, and general questions
•    Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
•    Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and sales floor
•    Restock merchandise and ensure displays are neat and appealing
•    Stay informed about current promotions, product details, and store policies
•    Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth retail experience

Requirements:

•    Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
•    Full-time availability required (approximately 40 hours/week)
•    Previous retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required
•    Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills
•    Basic math and computer skills
•    Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting, up to 20 lbs.
