Job Summary

The Retail Shift Supervisor provides excellent customer service for our guests while directing daily operating procedures for the resort stores, supervising retail associates and effectively communicating with the retail managers on a regular basis.  Oversees the opening and closing of the store, processing daily deposits and completing daily, weekly and monthly paperwork.  Retail Shift Supervisors are responsible for accurately processing all incoming merchandise orders, restocking merchandise, and completing transfers.

• Previous cash handling skills


• Previous guest service experience


• Must be 21 or older


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• ServeSafe or similar food management certification within 30 days of hire


• TIPS or similar ABC certification within 90 days of hire

Previous supervisory experience

Typical Schedule

Candidates must be available from 7:30am to 10:30pm, with weekend availability

Core Responsibilities

•   Reference tasks outlined in the Retail Training Manual, Opening & Closing Checklist, Daily Time schedule and Weekly Project list


•   Assign projects and tasks for the staff, ensuring optimum productivity


•   Assist in training new personnel which includes running registers, merchandising, close-out of registers, and informing them of company procedures and policies


•   Accurately check in merchandise delivered to store against purchase orders or packing list


•   Serve as ABC Manager on shift


•   Other duties as assigned by management
