About the Position

Little is hiring! We are looking for a full-time Store Manager to join our growing team. The Store Manager’s days will be spent overseeing the daily operations at our brick-and-mortar location in the heart of Portland’s Old Port.  Our storefront is bustling, and we need a Store Manager with the energy and motivation to thrive in our boutique! Working harmoniously as a team is essential, as is making everyone who enters the store feel comfortable and welcome. 

The ideal candidate would have experience in retail management with a proven track record motivating and overseeing staff members. Our dream candidate would also have a passion for supporting small and local businesses (and an interest in children’s clothing wouldn’t hurt!). We are a self-motivated, team-oriented group, and are looking forward to meeting our newest addition.

Responsibilities:

• Open & Close Store
• Train, supervise, and schedule Retail Sales Associates
• Create and foster a positive work environment for entire team
• Motivate Sales Associates to meet sales targets
• Engage and connect with customers
• Address customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
• Creating and maintaining store policies & procedures
• Inventory Management
• Store Merchandising

• Able to Stand on Feet for 8 Hours and Lift up to 50 lbs
• Weekend Availability (preferable Saturday & Sunday), Including Holidays
• Passionate about Children’s Clothing
• 3- 5 Years Retail Experience Required
• Management Experience Required

Compensation & Benefits:

• Dependent on Experience, starting at $50,000/year
