Story Lane Box is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Houston location. As the face of our brand, you will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier customer service, drive sales, and lead a team dedicated to delivering excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about retail and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Lead, coach, and motivate retail team members to achieve sales goals.

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a welcoming store atmosphere.

  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock ordering, and ensure proper merchandising.

  • Implement company policies and procedures with consistency and professionalism.

  • Handle scheduling, staff performance evaluations, and training plans.

  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

  • Track sales performance and report KPIs to upper management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail management position.

  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

  • Familiarity with inventory systems and basic POS operations.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
