Retail Store Manager-in-Training

We are looking for our next great retail leader! This training program will prepare you for managing your own CocoNene location within 6-months time.  We are looking for a driven, competent, motivating team and sales leader to be our Retail Store Manager-in-Training for our flagship location at International Market Place in Waikiki. Pay is starting at $45-50k (training) and goes up to $65-85k (manager). This is a full-time position with full benefits that include: medical coverage, 401k enrollment, paid time off and an employee discount of 25% (across all 3 sister brands). Day-to-day responsibilities:

- Pass 60-day Manager-in-Training program

- Cover sales shifts as needed

- Act as manager-on-duty when needed

- Behave as a manager

- Provide an excellent guest experience

- Coach/mentor salespeople

- Keep the store well-stocked and merchandised

- Help to grow sales/profit for the store

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

- 1-2 years management/supervisory experience (retail preferred), with sales or budget accountability

- Customer service & (retail) sales skills & experience

- Excellent management/leadership skills

- Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills

- Must enjoy working with people and growing a strong staff

- Drive to succeed and meet goals, strong growth mindset, yearns to learn/improve.

- Organizational planning skills

- Problem solving, analytical skills

- Computer skills

- Financial skills

- Associates Degree in Business/Management or equivalent work experience, preferred

Status and Schedule:

- 40-50h per week during training. Must be flexible to work any day and time.
