Supervisor Job Description

As a Supervisor, you will oversee and direct operations at assigned retail location. Your job will involve working in a fast-paced environment, training and leading your retail sales associates, providing excellent customer service, have a specific knowledge of the products we sell and perform duties related to the position.

Supervisors will report to their Area Manger.

 Direct Reports: Retail Sales Associates.

Indirect Reports: None

Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the operational aspects of your assigned store.
• Monitor and control inventory
• Ensure in stock status
• Conduct required inventories
• Implement sales and marketing campaigns as per company guidelines
• Completed daily paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure all associates are properly trained in all aspects of the operation
• Maintain profitability of the store by controlling payroll and expenses
• Provides excellent customer service with customer engagement, leading by example
• Maintain a clean and safe shopping environment
• Assist Loss Prevention and report concerns
• Make sure pricing is accurate and current on all product
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Maintain appropriate appearance and hygiene with satisfactory/required attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work a flexible
• Report any issues to your Area Manager

Requirements

Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional, formal training in Management, Finance, or Sales is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
• Excellent leadership skills; approachable and able to cultivate positive rapport with employees
• Prior experience in management and supervisory roles, sales, marketing, or customer service
  • A voice of reason, especially in trying circumstances.
• Proficient with computers; Microsoft office, Excel, word, Paylocity
• Adept at mathematics and finance; able to balance budgets
• Strong time management skills: ability to multitask effectively
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Goal-oriented with proven ability to get results
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS.
