Job Opportunity: Retirement Claims Examiner at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company

Role and Responsibilities: The Retirement Claims Examiner has an area(s) of expertise but also cross trains in all aspects of retirement products. The Retirement Claims Examiner examines all claims in assigned states and grants final approval of claims within limits. The Claims Examiner also recommends payments beyond limits and recommends claim denials.
Your responsibilities will include:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or two years Retirement and Tax experience and FLMI
• 3+ years experience working with AI models and frameworks, data management tools and data platforms
• Basic insurance knowledge preferred
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws as they pertain to SFBLIC annuity and RPS products.
• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent judgement and communication skills(oral and written)
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent organizational skills
