Job Details

General Summary:

Safe Life Defense is seeking a Returns Processor to assist with receiving, inspecting, and documenting returned goods in accordance with company policies and quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring returned products are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect returned products to assess condition and determine appropriate disposition per company policy (restocking, refurbishing, recycling, or disposal).


• Conduct thorough inspections of returned items to determine their condition and eligibility for resale or refurbishment.


• Accurately document return reasons and update inventory systems accordingly.​


• Collaborate with customer service representatives, warehouse leadership, and other relevant departments to resolve return-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction.​


• Prepare and maintain detailed records of returned items and prepare reports on return trends.​


• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding returns and exchanges.


• Repackage items as necessary for resale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.​


• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline the returns process.
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


• Prior experience in warehouse operations or returns processing is preferred.


• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  


• Team player with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
