We are looking for a returns supervisor to join our team and play a crucial role in managing the returns process efficiently. As the Returns Supervisor, you will oversee the returns operations, coordinate with various stakeholders, and implement effective strategies to streamline the returns process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and provide guidance to the returns team, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Develop labor plans based on projected returns volume and SLAs to ensure optimal
resource/headcount allocation
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure returned items are properly
inspected and processed according to company standards and client requirements.
Ensure timely achievement of assigned production goals
Develop and implement standardized procedures for handling returns efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with the operations team to establish streamlined processes, maximizing efficiency and reducing costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to returns processing.
Set clear performance objectives and provide feedback to team members on a regular basis.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration and safety
Coordinate with the customer service team to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution of return-related issues.
Identify root causes of returns and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions to minimize future returns.
Maintain accurate records and generate aged reports to monitor productivity
Conduct monthly EFR (Efficiency Feedback Reviews) with staff providing feedback and coaching on areas of improvement.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a 3PL environment or logistics industry
Strong knowledge of returns management processes, industry best practices, and relevant regulations
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to communicate including reading, writing and speaking in English and Spanish
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Work Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs; occasionally, with team support, lift and/or move objects greater than 30 lbs

The expected hourly rate for this position is $25.00 – $26.49
