Job Title: Revenue Cycle Consultant
Location: Nashville, TN
Work Schedule: Hybrid; Travel potential up to 50% 

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Consultant to travel to client practices and lead initiatives, train team members on best practices, streamline billing processes, and increase collections. This role is key to driving financial performance and sustainable growth for orthodontic practices across multiple locations.

This position may involve additional project work, an oversight of other collection processes, and potential travel to support multi-location operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Analyze existing revenue cycle management, and collections processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

· Implement best practices in billing, coding, and patient financial workflows to improve cash flow and reduce aging accounts receivable.

· Train in-practice staff on effective revenue cycle procedures, including insurance verification, insurance claims, patient contracts and delinquency follow-up.

· Develop and deliver actionable reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to collections and operational efficiency.

· Monitor post-implementation progress, provide ongoing support, and adjust strategies as needed to ensure sustained improvements.

· Optimize automation within PMS and AI Tools to elevate practice responsibilities. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in dental or orthodontic billing and insurance coordination required
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, including PPO plans and orthodontic benefits
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in dental billing a plus 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in orthodontic or dental practice, with a strong focus on revenue cycle management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in optimizing collections, streamlining processes, and improving patient financial engagement

Willingness to travel up to 50% to partner practices
