Revenue Cycle Management Team Lead

The Revenue Cycle Management Team Lead will oversee day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle team with a primary focus on optimizing workflows within the Athena EMR platform. This role ensures accurate charge capture, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific guidelines. The Team Lead will act as a subject matter expert in both Athena EMR functionality and revenue cycle best practices, driving performance improvements and staff development to maximize efficiency and financial outcomes.  

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred. 
• Minimum of 3–5 years in revenue cycle management, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role. 
• Hands-on experience with Athena EMR (billing, reporting, workflows) required. 
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, payer regulations, and reimbursement methodologies. 
• Expertise in revenue cycle KPIs and best practices. 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
