Rf Test Technician - Hiring Fast

Job Summary:
The RF Test Technician will perform electrical testing using provided test procedures working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at the printed circuit board level, sub-assembly level and system level testing of product. Knowledge of video transmission and reception preferred.
 
General Responsibilities:

• Perform testing at the printed circuit board level, sub-assembly level and system level testing of product.
• Ability to read schematics, test procedures, process flow diagrams and system level configuration diagrams.
• Basic troubleshooting of RF circuits to component level electronic.
• Ability to collect, document and report on the tests performed.
• Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, high frequency power supplies, spectrum analyzer.
• Use and knowledge of ESD precautions.
• Work with production team to develop board and product level test procedures which include training on software loading and calibration procedures.
• Interface with customers to troubleshoot problems or issues with RMAs for product returns.
• Assist with validation and troubleshooting during the NPI process.

 
Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience with analog and digital video and audio signals and measurement
• Experience or understanding of IP and networking protocols.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal)
• Working knowledge of MS windows and associated file systems
• Familiarity with loading FPGA firmware and microcontroller software.
• Must be able to follow test procedures, read schematics and provide detailed well-written failure reports.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of J-STD-001D and IPC-A-610 standards a plus

Education and Experience

• Formal training in electronics at the Technical school level
• 3-5 years prior electronics experience
• Experience with multi meters oscilloscope DC meters, RF Test equipment (RF Sweepers, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer (as a minimum)
