Rigger

Position Summary: 

Talent Source is seeking experienced Riggers to safely move heavy equipment and components aboard Navy ships. This role supports critical logistics and heavy lift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Calculate load weights and select appropriate rigging equipment.

  
  


• 
  

  Signal crane operators and assist in safe movement of loads.

  
  


• 
  

  Rig and secure large shipboard systems and parts in tight quarters.

  
  


• 
  

  Support barge operations and dry dock activities as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect rigging gear and document lift plans.

  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 
  

  4+ years of rigging experience in shipyards or heavy industry.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of OSHA/ANSI rigging standards.

  
  


• 
  

  NCCER certification or equivalent preferred.

  
  

Salary Range: $24.00–$34.00 per hour
