Tri-State Rigging is looking for experienced and safety-focused professionals to join our Bowling Green, KY team as Riggers / Operators. If you have a strong background in general construction, heavy equipment operation, and rigging, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Rigger / Operator, you’ll play a key role in setting up, operating, and dismantling rigging systems and heavy machinery across a variety of job sites. This position demands a solid understanding of rigging techniques, safety procedures, and equipment handling to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and dismantle rigging systems for lifting and moving heavy loads.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Conduct routine inspections of rigging gear and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Work closely with team members to plan and execute lifting operations.
• Maintain detailed records of rigging activities and equipment usage.
• Follow all company and industry safety protocols to promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Experience in general construction, heavy equipment operation, and millwright work.
• Proven track record as a rigger or equipment operator in industrial or construction settings.
• In-depth knowledge of rigging practices, load calculations, and safety standards.
• Skilled in operating cranes, hoists, and other heavy machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Certifications: CDL Class A or B and NCCCO certification preferred.
