Location: Indiana – Work from any office: Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Merrillville, South Bend, Evansville, or Jeffersonville
Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Office

About the Right-of-Way Technician Position: We are seeking a Right-of-Way Technician to support public infrastructure and land acquisition projects throughout Indiana. You'll play a key role in assisting engineering and survey teams by preparing accurate ROW documentation, ensuring compliance with state standards, and supporting field and title research activities.

Right of Way Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist with ROW plan development, parcel plats, and legal descriptions
• Support title research, parcel documentation, and area computations
• Coordinate with surveyors, CAD technicians, and engineers
• Use Civil3D and AutoCAD to support plan production
• Review project materials in line with INDOT standards
• Travel to job sites across Indiana as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a ROW Technician or surveyor‑in‑training
• Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD (MicroStation a plus)
• Familiarity with the INDOT Right‑of‑Way Engineering Manual
• Detail‑oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with GIS or Trimble Business Center preferred
• Ability to travel between project sites in Indiana
