Job Description - Risk Analyst
Activities include:
Support technology teams in remediating, identifying, debating, and documenting risks and remediation plans.
Support technology teams in the delivery and validation of requested artifacts.
Support technology teams in setting up sustainable routines and tracking solutions.
Partner with the Technology Managers and their teams to ensure sustainability routines are performed in accordance with defined processes.
Support Technology Management in audit and exam activities.
Assist in risk issue management activities and escalations.
Maintain effective and professional relationships with key business stakeholders and risk partners.
Act as an ambassador of the risk culture.
Experience presenting complex ideas in technical and business terms to varying levels of management.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills to foster forward progress with projects and initiatives.
Poise and perseverance to get things accomplished under pressure and within the set timelines.
Track record of ensuring accuracy, clarity, and quality of work with attention to detail.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent MS-Office skills including PowerPoint (for presentations), Excel (for manipulating large amounts of data) and Word.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
CISA, CRISC, CISM or CISSP
5+ years Technology Audit or Technology Risk experience
Experience in the identification, documentation, debate, and escalation of risk.
Oversee execution of Risk Assessments.
Solid understanding of a risk control framework (i.e., inherent risks, control procedures, residual risk, etc.)
Strong ability to analyze metrics and data to identify thematic issues / areas requiring improvement.
Understanding of Global Records Management, Business Continuity and Recovery, Information Security, Application Management, and Change Management programs, principles and application in a technology setting.
Understanding of the business controls and compliance functions and the partnership required to be effective.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
