Job Description - Risk Services Program Business Execution Director
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Director to join the Risk Services Program in Wealth & Investment Management's Chief Administrative Office. In this role, you will: Lead a team of front-line risk managers responsible for ensuring that all business groups and functions within Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) meet the requirements of risk management programs, policies, and procedures, with a particular focus on Compliance risk Develop and foster collaborative relationships with key partners in front-line business groups, Independent Risk Management, the Legal Department, and Internal Audit Establish a framework for evaluating front-line adherence to risk program requirements including applicable policies and procedures Evaluate WIM Risk Services Program's coverage model and support of risk management programs, policies, and procedures Align resources to provide support for the highest priority risks and regulatory commitments Develop and deliver long-term strategies, policies, and procedures to effectively manage risk Leverage risk management expertise and capabilities to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decisions Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development in order to ensure operational excellence and process efficiency Lead assigned initiatives ensuring solutions are designed, integrated, and controlled to improve effectiveness, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate Interpret and develop a range of policies and procedures for long-range and fundamental Collaborate and influence functional management to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with business strategies or policies Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy Required Qualifications, US: 8+ years of Project Management, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 4+ years of management experience Desired Qualifications: Experience overseeing one or more risk management programs, policies, and/or procedures Experience in a second-line risk management role (Compliance and/or Operational Risk) Deep knowledge of Wealth & Investment Management products and services Advanced degree (JD or MBA preferred) Experience managing high performing teams Job Expectations: This position offers a hybrid work schedule in one of the listed job locations This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
