Job Description - RMA Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT: Production

POSITION: RMA Coordinator

CATEGORY:                Non-Exempt
JOB FUNCTION:         Process Customer products returns within the RMA process.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:    High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:   Minimum of one year experience in high volume manufacture.
SKILLS:    Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft words and excel. Ability to work independently at all levels within the organization. Knowledge of inventory management systems (SAP) is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Read and follow work instructions, company standards and procedures.
Obtain approvals for RMA requests and follow-up RMAs to ensure closure.
Verify RMA form and physical units check-in SAP
Create work order in SAP, schedule and coordinate the rework/debug/RMA requirement.
Generate orders and follow up on outstanding issues with internal departments.
Ensure timely response to customer about return authorization status and disposition of discrepant RMA’s, Data entry and record keeping
