RME-I Fire Sprinkler Inspector

The Fire Sprinkler Service Foreman leads inspection, testing, repair, and minor installation of fire sprinkler systems on Aoka’s projects. This hands-on role combines technical expertise with supervising field teams and subcontractors, ensuring safe, code-compliant work and quality project completion. It also involves site coordination, documentation, and client communication.


Qualifications:

• NICET Level II or RME-I license required

• Proven fire sprinkler inspection experience

• Strong working knowledge of life safety systems and NFPA codes

• Familiarity with sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and other critical system components

• Willingness and ability to perform testing and maintenance on sprinkler and fire pump systems

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety product lines with minimal supervision

• Operate independently while conducting fire protection inspections

• Maintain daily communication with the project manager regarding inspection or project delays, requirements, and overall job status

• Collaborate with project manager, Schedule Coordinator, and Office Administrative Staff to ensure timely closeout and turnover of jobs to the client

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60,000 to $90,000 yearly salary, depending upon qualifications and experience
