Position Summary
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about supporting units, with expertise in Knowledge Management and SharePoint Modification with a background supporting Cyber Security Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes. Experience with Mission Training Complexes (MTC) is a plus.
The selected candidate will work at JBSA-IMCOM HQ on Fort Sam Houston, TX. The KM Specialist functions as the KM Lead and Program Analyst for Installation Management Command (IMCOM) MTC RMF program information tracking and reporting requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to have access to and regularly work with Government sensitive data and may be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences. The KM Specialist will aggregate and manage RMF Team digital information, maintain RMF data and make it accessible to MTCs, assist MTCs with updating and maintaining their RMF TEAMS sites, assist the RMF Team Leader and RMF Operations Manager with status reporting and updates for eleven IMCOM managed MTCs, and follow-up with customers, as required.
What You'll Do
Content management and minor site development of the IMCOM G3/5/7 RMF Team SharePoint portal.
Interface with MTC Government KM Leads.
Assist RMF Team Leader with reporting status for the eleven IMCOMC MTCs, identifying trends, and providing analysis.
Monthly RMF Status Reports and Assessment Reports.
Develop, implement, and maintain data taxonomy for RMF Team data and MTC TEAMS channels.
Collaborate with eleven IMCOM-managed MTCs and assist in developing a shared repository of documents, regulations, templates, diagrams, and TTPs.
Enhance knowledge sharing of after-action reviews, reports/proposals, collaborative networking, discussion forum materials, and frequently asked questions using the RMF Team SharePoint portal.
Conduct knowledge generation by reviewing DOD and industry reports, research, and academic documents.
Able to maintain confidentiality and protect the sensitivity of proprietary information, non-public information received in the confidence of the Federal Government, contractor bid and proposal information, and source selection information IAW statutory or regulatory requirements.
Minimum travel may be required
Requirements and Qualifications: Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint or similar web-based collaboration software tool(s).
Experience designing and implementing web design, collaboration tools, and content management.
Meet DoD 8570.01-M Baseline Computing Environment (CE) Certification Requirements at Information Assurance Technical Level I (IAT I). (CompTIA A+ or Network+)
Secret clearance.
Desired Qualifications US Army certified Knowledge Manager or Functional Area 57.
One (1) year experience serving as an organization Knowledge Manager.
Experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proficient in Database Administration.
Military service with experience in areas like those listed under required qualifications.
Familiarity with military (preferably US Army) training, operations, training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS), and mission command information systems (MCIS).
