RN After Hours

Your Role as an RN After Hours:

• Travel within a 40-mile service area radius of Bedford/Lynchburg for patient visits with generous mileage reimbursement paid out bi-weekly.
• Respond to patient and family needs during evening, overnight, and weekend hours.
• Provide skilled nursing care, symptom management, and emotional support.
• Communicate with the hospice team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Offer guidance and reassurance to families during difficult times.
• Advocate for patients' comfort and dignity in their final journey.

What You Bring:

Active RN License (Virginia).
Hospice or home health experience preferred, but not required.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work independently while staying connected to the team.
A compassionate heart and dedication to hospice care.
