RN Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Are you a super-dependable, detail-oriented, get-it-done kind of person?  Do you have solid clinical leadership experience?  Are you a licensed RN in the state of Ohio?  If so, you could be the next Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) at Carespring Healthcare Management in Loveland, OH.

$85,000 to $115,000 Per Year

You’ll work directly with the Director of Nursing (DON) and nursing team to implement systems and processes that ensure the facility meets the medical, physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of all patients.

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Assisting & supporting the DON
• Acquiring a thorough understanding of the DON job description so you can assist in his/her duties as necessary & successfully manage the facility in the absence of the Administrator and DON.
• Supporting the overall facility goals, policy and chain of command.
• Serving as Resource nurse for patient care related questions or problems.
• Monitoring patient care & environment by making daily rounds independently and with DON.
• Overseeing clinical systems in the facility: infection control (acting as Infection Preventionist); skin integrity team & fall reduction/management team.
• Assisting with system/process education for the nursing team & performing ongoing in-service training as needed based on QAPI initiatives
• Accepting, researching & addressing new admissions complaints & concerns
• Assisting with interviewing, hiring and coaching of the nursing team.
• Performing chart/charting audits to ensure proper care, treatments & documentation.
• Acting as a member of the Infection Control & QAPI Team.
• Assisting with nursing meetings on all shifts.

You’ll Need To Have:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, RN, & have a current license in the state of OH.
• Proven clinical leadership experience & excellent attention to detail ensuring the facility has appropriate clinical oversight and leadership
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• High-level problem solving, system/process analysis, critical thinking skills
• Good personal health
