The house supervisor oversees the daily nursing operations, for our three units, ensuring the coordination of high quality care.

In this role the house supervisor will also assist the Director of Nursing in crafting and implementing process improvement, education and employment engagement initiatives.

POSITION SUMMARY

• Provides oversight for the provision of care for a 95 bed facility.


• Serves as a resource to the direct care staff.


• Coordinates on-site response to incidents, errors and sentinel events.


• Provides support to the DON with staffing, staff education, and other activities as assigned.


• Provides direct patient care under the Registered Nurse job description when necessary and/or assigned.

EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

EXPERIENCE: Two years as Registered Nurse with one year long term care or rehabilitation setting.
