Shift Notes

8 hour days

Pay: $90 to $95 depending on experience.

Unit Notes

Unit: Cath Lab

- # beds: "6 suites (IR, EP, & Cath Lab)

Must be able to do IR & Cath. EP experience would be a PLUS! Must be circulate & scrubbing would be a huge PLUS!"

- Certs: BLS & ACLS (Moderate conscious sedation comp test required) pre & post op experience is a plus (they will train & this will be expected) ICU background required, Balloon pump training, Therma cool, Impella, must be strong team-player. Strong cultural fit. Like family, longevity.

- Ratios: average 80+ EP per month, specials 60-80, cath lab 30-50

- EMR: McKesson

- Charge Nurse: Charge break relief, etc…

- Nurse Aides: NO cath lab techs

- Weekend Requirement: No

- Holidays: No

- Call: Travelers will not be expected to take call; however if experienced & willing to take call this could be possible M-F

- Scrub Color: Provided

- Tele: McKesson

- Vents: No

- RT 24/7: Yes

- Pharmacy 24/7: In house until 10 pm. 24/7 access - pharmacy out of Dominican hospital after hours does auto verification, Do have an on-call pharmacist.

- Shifts: 10 hours - start anywhere from 7 - 10 am,

- Floating: No

- Floor specific orientation: 2-3 shifts with a preceptor

- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Peripheral, Interventional Oncology, pacers, ICD, Therma cool, Impella, no TAVR but hope to in the future

- Additional Notes: Pre & post op experience is a plus (they will train & this will be expected) ICU background required, Balloon pump training. Must be a strong team-player. Strong cultural fit. Their cath lab is like family. A lot of longevity in this cath lab.

Compensation: $90.00 - $95.00 per hour
