Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Unit

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care through evidence-based nursing practices
• Perform age-specific patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer medications and treatments using EPIC electronic medical records
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Serve as a patient advocate and provide patient/family education
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Current Virginia RN license or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, NRP as needed)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
