Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical/Surgical Unit | Full-Time Position

Position Overview

As a valued member of our nursing team, you'll provide comprehensive patient care while working in a collaborative, supportive environment that promotes both professional development and work-life balance.

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Lead interdisciplinary care coordination with healthcare team members
• Administer medications and treatments using EPIC EMR system
• Provide patient and family education regarding care and recovery
• Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols
• Mentor and support nursing support staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current Virginia RN license or eligibility for licensure
• BSN from an accredited nursing program (ADN with commitment to BSN considered)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS, PALS preferred)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• 1+ year acute care experience preferred
