Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.


• Administers and/or ensures that medications and/or treatments are given according to physician's orders.


• Makes routine and special rounds, keeping aware of residents' condition and special needs.


• Reviews and documents all nurse's notes in residents medical record, and responds accordingly to indicated changes in resident status or needs.

Qualifications

• San Antonio, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)


• Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing or vocational nursing.


• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State of Texas.


• Current CPR certification.


• Great communication & management skills.


• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.


• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.


• Extensive knowledge of basic health care procedures.
