Job Summary and Responsibilities






As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

  • Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
  • Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
  • Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
  • Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
  • Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care. Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.

We are offering up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements

 

Schedule is made every 6 weeks by the manager

40hrs/WK- Days- variable shifts per surgical volume and current unit needs 

‘Late Stay’ is required and scheduled in advance

No surgeries on holidays or weekends.Like a Surgery center. No weekends no nights. No Call!!

 









Job Requirements






  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or by endorsement
  • One (1) year of clinical RN experience
  • RN license to practice in state of employment as applicable

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Nursing Specialty Certification
  • Previous OR experience with Ortho/ Sports Medicine cases highly preferred
  • Previous leadership experience preferred- Either Charge RN or Service line leader








Where You’ll Work






As an RN Clinical Coordinator at Ortho Colorado, you will provide specialized oversight for the Sports Medicine service line within an 8-suite department averaging 450–550+ procedures monthly. You will directly coordinate all equipment, supplies, and implants for surgical cases while maintaining active collaboration with surgeons to facilitate optimal procedural flow. Beyond clinical practice, this role involves facilitating staff education, developing departmental training programs, and supporting management in long-term operational success.
