Seeking a RN Clinical Manager

Skilled Home Health

The VNA Home Health is seeking a full-time Nursing Clinical Manager for Home Health. The Nursing Clinical Manager will work under the direction of the Clinical Director to provide leadership to the nursing area, promote the interdisciplinary care of the patient, ensure patient outcomes are achieved, promote competencies and compliance of nursing staff, be an active participant of the clinical team, and assist the agency in providing high quality programs and services ensuring they are delivered in the most efficient manner within the mission, philosophy and resources of the agency.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficient skills using Oasis to admit, transfer, recertification, and discharge home health patients in regard to physician orders. 
  • Coordinate and supervise LPN’s and HHAs in the delivery of patient care. Maintain compliance with agency policy and procedures. Follow Medicare and Medicaid regulations
  • Oversee clinical services and operations, reviews and      assures excellent patient care is provided. Ensure clinical teams are in      full compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, national      accreditation body rules and regulations as well as agency policy and      procedures are followed. Ensure workflow processes are timely and cost      efficient.
  • Monitors results of chart audits and assures that      remedial action is taken. Identifies trends in audits and communicates      results to the Director.
  • Enforces high patient care standards through regular      tracking and monitoring of clinical outcomes. Responsible for meeting      established clinical and service quality goals.
  • Ensures clinical documentation flows through the      systems accurately ending in timely billing submission to payers.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the      organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal      actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the      policies, regulations and laws applicable to the organization's business.

Requirements

  

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state of IN.

Education Required:

  • Minimum associate’s degree in nursing, bachelor’s degree      preferred.

Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in clinical      nursing. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in managing staff and      budgets.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • You must possess and provide proof of a valid Driver License and adequate insurance coverage.
  • Must have thorough understanding of home health regulations, reimbursement and care requirements.
  • Demonstrates an ability to resolve conflict, motivate staff and interact with superiors, peers and subordinates in a direct and      professional manner.
  • Demonstrates an ability to solve problems and make independent judgments and decisions based on experience and good judgment.
