RN - Emergency Services

Overview:

Our regional hospital is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our busy 15-bed Emergency Department. Patients range from geriatric to neonatal. Various shifts, predominantly working 12-hour shifts though subject to change according to the needs of the department. 1:5 patient ratio. We average 65 patients per day and approximately 25,000 patients per year. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative team of 2-4 RNs with our Physicians.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associates of Nursing required.
• Experience: Previous critical care experience preferred.
• License: Current Nevada RN license required.
• American Heart Association Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days upon hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days upon hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90-days upon hire or transfer. TNCC within 6 months upon hire or transfer.
