RN (Infusion Clinic) - FT/64 Days

Springfield Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated nurse to care for patients in the outpatient infusion specialty clinic. The ideal candidate would have greater than 2 years' RN experience, have excellent communication skills, feel comfortable working autonomously with clinical support and demonstrate compassionate and empathetic bedside manner. The Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) will:

• Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, within the framework of the Department of Nursing, and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation to include delegation of work to other levels of employees.
• Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Required completion at first course offering after hire)
• Oncology Nursing Society
• Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification, achieved and maintained. (Initial certification required within 3 months of hire)
• De-escalation Training (preferred)
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing Care Knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.

 Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.13- $57.64 per hour. The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education and experience of the successful candidate.
