RN - Labor and Delivery

The Labor and Delivery Technician plays a vital role in supporting the healthcare team during the labor and delivery process. This position involves assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the delivery area, ensuring a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Duties

• Prepare the labor and delivery room by ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order.
• Assist healthcare professionals during labor and delivery by providing support with medical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of the delivery area throughout the process.
• Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, restocking as necessary.
• Load and unload medical supplies, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to transport supplies within the facility.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow during deliveries.

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
