RN - Medical -Surgical

• Contract Position for Med Surg RNs in an acute hospital in Tulsa, OK
  


• 3 12-hrs shifts a week, 6:30PM-7:00AM
  


• This is a 28-bed unit serving the general surgical adult population and have telemetry capability
  


• Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
  


• The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Unit Coordinator.
  


• Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry.
  
  

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
  


• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  


• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  


• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  


• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  
  

Requirements

• Registered Nursing License in Oklahoma or Compact License
  


• BLS Certification
  


• Atleast 1 year of Medical/Surgical Experience
  


• Computer Proficiency
