Shift Timings: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours Monday to Friday 3 days 12 hours shift

Per Week: 36 Hours

This is a post operative unit. They have 30 beds Nurse / Patient ratio is 1-5 on day shift and 1/5-6 on night shift. We see post op general surgery patients and post op thoracotomy patients. BCLS required, every other weekend, minimum of 1 summer holiday

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
