Salary Range:

• Minimum: $84,849
• Midpoint: $106,059
• Maximum: $127,274
• (Based on years of experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead its Cardiac Stepdown Unit. This position plays a pivotal role in managing clinical operations, staff development, and patient care delivery for a high-acuity cardiac population. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Stepdown Unit.
• Ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care is consistently delivered.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and medical staff to coordinate care plans and operational goals.
• Oversee unit staffing, budgeting, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Lead efforts in staff education, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing required; Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience in a cardiac or stepdown setting strongly preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
