Location: Margate, FL

Schedule: 3x12 Evening

Hourly Pay Range: $38.52 - $53.70/hr (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead the Medical Telemetry unit at a 289-bed acute care facility known for its excellence in stroke, cardiac, and bariatric care. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing patient care operations, staff development, and quality outcomes. The ideal candidate brings recent charge nurse or clinical leadership experience in an acute care telemetry or med/surg environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all patient care functions and nursing staff within the 32-36 bed Medical Telemetry unit.
• Ensure high-quality, evidence-based nursing care is delivered in alignment with hospital standards and patient safety goals.
• Support performance improvement, clinical education, and staff development initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administrative leaders to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Lead by example in maintaining excellent patient satisfaction and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida RN license or compact license (must meet FL eligibility).
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current).
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse or CNC in an acute care setting.
• Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
