Position Overview:
The Nurse Manager will oversee day-to-day clinical operations, support nursing staff, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive initiatives that enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and outcomes in the Mother Baby/OB unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage nursing personnel across the Mother Baby/OB department

• Oversee scheduling, staffing, training, and performance evaluations

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal guidelines

• Drive quality improvement efforts and patient satisfaction initiatives

• Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and administrative leaders

• Ensure safe and effective care for mothers and newborns during the postpartum period

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in Mother Baby, Postpartum, or Obstetrics

• Proven ability to lead clinical teams and implement performance improvement strategies

• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
