RN Nurse (Per Diem / Temp to Perm)

Job Description:

Registered Nurse (Per Diem / Temp to Perm) for a private Special Education School specializing in the treatment of children ages 3-21 of various psychiatric diagnoses. Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential for this job role. New graduates are welcome to apply. Job duties include:

• Administering medications and monitor potential side effects of medications
• Experience with first aid treatment
• Maintain student health records (physical, schools forms, immunization records, labs & consults)
• Collaborating with psychiatrist in treatments goals for students
• Collaborating with the healthcare team in regard to treatment plan for students
• Facilitate positive student responses to normal growth and development. Provide therapeutic communication

Job Type: 

• PER DIEM
• Temp to Perm

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 2-3 Days a Week (must be flexible)

Pay Rate: $45.00 Hourly

Work Location: In person

Requirements:

• Current New York Registered Nurse (RN) License
• CPR Certification
• Child Abuse Certification
