RN Chart Abstractor Compensation

• The pay for this position is $40 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

RN Chart Abstractor Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required shift for this position is Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm

RN Chart Abstractor Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently conduct medical review/abstraction services
• Accurately abstract information from the electronic medical record into the electronic data capture tool.
• Complete quality, accuracy and inter-rater reliability testing as requested in a timely manner.
• Perform quality review on work completed by the other data abstractors
• Abide by all HIPAA and associated patient confidentiality requirements

RN Chart Abstractor Requirements

• Must have oncology and abstractor experience
• Must be proficient in navigating through EHR databases.
• Clinical experience/pharmaceutical experience; prefer experience in performing chart abstractions in an oncology setting, academic or research experience helpful.
• Previous data analysis experience is a plus.
• Specialized Knowledge/Skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Team work oriented.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills including: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook
• Must have high speed internet access.
• This is a contract position only.
