RN - OR Circulator

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with experience as a OR Circulator. Candidates must be passionate about providing exceptional care for patients, and committed to helping us grow our Outpatient Surgery Center.

The person in this role must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6a - 3p.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess patients prior to surgery.
• Assist with gathering supplies needed for the operation.
• Assume responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized.
• Position and prepare patient on operating table.
• Assist handing objects to the surgeon during operation.
• Monitor patient’s vital signs to detect anomalies.
• Evaluate patient in postoperative phases.
• Adhere to safety standards and precautions.
• Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned.
• Float among various clinical services, where qualified and competent.
• Assist during emergency procedures and medical intervention.
• Interact with all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees in a mature responsible manner to ensure a positive and professional surgery center environment.
• Follow all facility policies and procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Georgia RN License
• ACLS
• Minimum of 1 year OR Circulating experience
