Now Hiring: PICU Registered Nurses – Houston, TX

We’re seeking experienced PICU RNs to join Pediatric Critical Care teams across multiple Houston-area locations. If you’re passionate about pediatric care and thrive in high-acuity environments, we’d love to connect with you!

Position Highlights:

• Locations Available:
• Houston
• The Woodlands
• Schedule: 13 week contract
• 3x12 hour shifts per week
• Day and night shifts available
• Setting:
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for pediatric patients with multi-system failure and life-threatening conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality critical care
• Float to NICU as needed
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients

• Weekend Requirements:
• Day Shift: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Night Shift: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Pre-employment onboarding modules may be required

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license in good standing (Texas)
• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• Must be able to work with frequent interruptions

Required Certifications:

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS preferred
• NRP preferred
