4-7yrs experience $47-63/hour

Must have excellent IV Skills

Full Time Registered Nurse
5 days/week between time frame - 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Monday- Friday with occasional Saturday
Temp to Perm - 94% convert to full time after 520 hours.

We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism and a strong desire to provide quality patient care.
The successful candidate will work with state of the art Surgical treatment in the safest, most efficient and caring manner.
You will provide cross coverage in Pre-surgical admission/assessment; PACU coverage and patient discharge.

*Essential Responsibilities*
* Admitting patients to the Center
* Assisting Physicians during procedures
* Following patients in recovery to discharge
* Overseeing patient and staff flow and monitoring that policies and procedures are followed.
* Additional duties include maintaining the emergency cart, ordering and inventorying medication, giving pre-procedure instruction and participating in Quality Management projects.

*Qualified candidates will possess the following:*
* Experience as a Nurse, RN required in a Hospital, ASC or Acute Care setting
* Experience in PACU/Pre-Op, Medical Surgical, Step-Down, Critical Care, ER or Ambulatory Surgery Endoscopy highly preferred
* Current New York state RN license
* BLS Certification, ACLS required.
* Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
* Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism.
* You must have excellent communication skills, be extremely organized, detailoriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Post and Pre-Op experience preferred.
* Knowledge of JCAHO guidelines and policy a plus.

Pay: $55.00 - $63.00 per hour

* NY RN License (Required)
