Position Overview:

Deliver high-acuity nursing care in a Level I/II trauma center within an academic medical environment. Manage complex cases, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and leverage EPIC EMR to ensure evidence-based patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage acute/critical patient caseloads
• Coordinate trauma responses and stabilization
• Document care via EPIC EMR
• Administer medications/therapies per protocols
• Educate patients/families on care plans

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Licensure/Certification:
• Active NY RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Experience:
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level
• Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience
• Travel RNs must have experience in equal or larger-sized hospitals or trauma centers
• Technical Skills: EPIC EMR proficiency
• Soft Skills:
• Critical decision-making
• Interdisciplinary collaboration
