Job Title: RN Supervisor

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a RN Supervisor position, providing weekly hours of clinical oversight, RN engagement, and regulatory support. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who wants to grow professionally and influence the quality of care across the organization while maintaining schedule flexibility.
The RN Supervisor will oversee and support other RN’s, including those with ongoing client engagements and those conducting drop-in visits for medication management. This position provides oversight for multiple office locations throughout Dallas/DFW area.
Key Responsibilities
1. RN Engagement & Oversight
Conduct RN engagement assessments and ensure all engaged RNs receive appropriate guidance and support.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to a team.
Maintain regular communication regarding performance, documentation, adherence to protocols, and client safety.
2. Nurse Delegation & Clinical Review
Review and approve nurse-delegated tasks in compliance with Texas Board of Nursing standards and agency policies.
Ensure all clinical activities fall within scope of practice and regulatory expectations.
3. Recruitment & Onboarding of RNs
Recruit additional RNs as needed based on organizational growth and client care needs.
Participate in interviews, credential reviews, and hiring decisions.
Manage the onboarding and training process to ensure new RNs understand company protocols, client care expectations, and documentation standards.
4. Ongoing Clinical Quality & Documentation
Provide coaching and implement corrective actions when documentation does not meet standards.”
Collaborate with operations leadership to identify clinical risks, gaps, or process improvements.
Maintain understanding of Texas regulatory requirements related to RN supervision and delegation.
Schedule & Hours
This is a supplemental role, requiring a limited number of hours per week.
Hours may flex based on RN engagement cycles, delegation reviews, or onboarding demands.
The RN Supervisor may continue to accept RN shifts and will be paid their regular RN shift rate for those hours.
Supervisory hours will be paid at an enhanced rate of $60-$70/hour (based on experience).
Compensation
• Standard RN rates for ongoing clinical shifts picked up
• $60-$70 per hour (based on experience) for the time allocated to Supervision
Location: Remote, on site and Office-based as required
Support Scope: Limited travel anticipated
Qualifications:
Active Texas RN license in good standing (required)
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
Strong understanding of nursing delegation, medication management, regulatory compliance, and RN oversight requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical detail.
Ability to lead and mentor other nurses professionally.
