Shift Availability for Registered Nurse Unit Manager position:

• Full-Time Mon-Fri
• Weekend and Holiday On call rotation responsibilities
• Specialized LTC and Dementia Unit
• $6,000 sign on BONUS

Responsibilities of Registered Nurse Unit Manager:

• Supervise nursing personnel and ensure respective job duties are followed.
• Responsible for the overall operation of assigned unit.
• Assist DON in planning and directing day-to-day functions of the unit.
• Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules.
• Participate in facility surveys and quality assurance program.
• Respond to all falls and changes in condition.
• Communicate with physicians and resident families.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications for RN Unit Manager:

• Current RN license in good standing required
• 2 years supervisory experience required
• Dementia care experience required
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and leadership skills
• Strong computer skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to prioritize
