RN Unit Manager / Infection Prevention (IP) Role

Position Overview:

The RN Unit Manager / IP oversees the care management of a patient population within an assigned unit, area, or clinical function. This role involves performing the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—in accordance with the State’s Nurse Practice Act. The Unit Manager – RN ensures effective resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and clear interdisciplinary communication to improve patient and family satisfaction, maintain adherence to clinical systems, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Infection Prevention (IP) certification is required.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare setting.
• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
