Founded in 1961, Dignity Health - Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is a 65-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Arroyo Grande, California. Serving over 90,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including, emergency care, and orthopedics. Job Summary and Responsibilities






As our RNFA, you will champion excellence across multiple ORs and PACU bays, bridging frontline care with strategic leadership to redefine surgical outcomes.

Every day, you will inspire and empower our perioperative nursing team, translating organizational goals into action that elevates patient experience, strengthens community engagement, and ensures world-class care. You'll fiercely advocate for your staff, channeling their insights into innovation and growth.

  • Employee has the willingness and ability to perform additional duties and responsibilities in different areas of the department on an as-needed basis or as determined by management.
  • Maintains good attendance and punctuality.
  • Consistently projects positive professional image through appearance and behavior.
  • Completes all required intra-operative documentation, i.e., operative record, charge sheets, implant records, pathology slips, etc., per policy and procedure. Documents any unusual occurrence on an incident trending report.
  • Assists with application to tourniquet.
  • Assist with the positioning, prepping and draping of the patient or perform these independently.









Job Requirements






  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • 2 years Perioperative Practice
  • Registered Nurse: CA RN License
  • Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS, within 30 Days
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support - PALS, within 90 Days


Preferred

  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room - CNOR
